Is chiropractic care and massage covered under insurance?
Yes! Most insurances have chiropractic benefits with a set number of visits for the year. Regarding massage, this one is a little bit more tricky because some insurances will bill this under ‘physical therapy’ or ‘manual therapy’ benefits. Make sure to double check and ask them about that when you check your benefits.
Can I come in to see a chiropractor after a Motor Vehicle Accident?
Yes! We encourage you to do so! There are a couple steps the patient has to take as well. 1. Call your auto insurance NOT health insurance because that is considered insurance fraud. 2. Once you are done calling you auto insurance, you will be assigned an adjuster regarding your medical and auto bills. We recommend saving the name of your adjuster, phone number, and adjustment number.3. If you have experienced a hit and run we recommend you make a police reports just to have all of those documentations in a row.
Can I come in after getting hurt at work?
Yes! This type of injury does need to be reported at your job site and it is called a Worker’s Compensation AKA Workman’s Comp. There are several forms that needs to be filled out within 72 hours of the injury and it is important to bring that documentation during your visit.
