Energy cannot be created nor destroyed. It can only be transferred. Therefore, energy is all around us. Energy from others can affect you in many ways. Have you ever been in a good mood and then someone walks into the room who is in a terrible mood? Did it make your mood worse? This is very common. The opposite can be true as well. If you are sad, your best friend comes over and starts making you feel better just by being there. This is the energy that we are working with. We, as humans, can attract this energy and transfer it to other places or people. Space and time does not matter. A patient does not need to be face to face with the healer in order to get a benefit from the treatment.
