Classes

classes for kettlebells

Studies have shown that group exercising significantly improves the mental, physical, and emotional state of its participants. We offer a variety of classes tailored to each individual. Class size is small so that you can get the modifications you may need by the instructor. Check out our events calendar to find the class schedule.

Yoga

We are currently offering morning and noon classes for yoga. Each yoga class focuses on breathing and moving. The instructor will modify each pose for individuals if they are unable to do the pose. We will also work with you if you have injuries and modify each pose to take stress off the injured area.

Meditation

Meditation is a great way to relieve stress. It does not matter if you have never meditated before, we will guide you through the meditation. There will be a different focus in some meditations, such as with a full moon when we release what we have been carrying or with a new moon and setting intentions for the coming month.

Core Stability Classes

It is very important to have a strong core. All of our everyday movements go through the core, so if your core is not stable, your body will start compensating to provide stability to your spine. When this happens, your back will start hurting and muscles get really tight. Let us show you how to create a stable core through mobility and strength. Our instructors will guide you through a series of exercises and stretches, that when practiced regularly, will decrease your pain, make you stronger, and able to get back to doing what you love. This will be a six session course series where you will progress what you learn each week.

Back Strengthening Classes

You can join us in this back strengtheing course once you’ve completed the core stability course series or have been cleared by Dr. Wendy. We will show you different exercises to strengthen your back and surrounding muscles to help prevent injury. As always, we tailor the class to each person.

Foam Roller/Lacrosse Ball Classes

Have you been told to foam roll or use a lacrosse ball for myofascial release but really don’t know how to use them? We can help. Let us show you how to use these great tools safely and effectively.
